    All those chinese cars....

I know one thing, my first MM saved my life, and I bought another one to replace it. Panther Safety is #1 out there.

Look at this freakin car....videos at the bottom of the page.

My panther saved me, too. It survived and carried enough value to not be totalled. The BRAND NEW ext cab Silverado I hit WAS totalled.

The crash test reminds me of the 99-03 style supercab F150 that the IIHS tested.

Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

Yep, and thanks to NAFTA and the crooks who implemented it, Chinese cars and trucks will be all over our roads by 2009. I think I will stick to the big 4 door M-ride until it rusts out from under me.

china has nothing to do with NAFTA. The deal that made China a 'most favoured trading nation' is another issue all together

Looks like there's been a serious splintering. I never thought it'd be possible for this to happen to a group of owners of a car model that sold no more than 14000 copies over 2 model years. Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.

Either way: In both cases, it was Clinton who did it.

If you guys love that, you'll love this! Look at the crappy frame that's on the new "Great" Tundra compared to the awesome box frame on the F-150's. http://blip.tv/file/250121?filename=...trength435.wmv

it looks like the fire was only outside the car, and was almost out by the end of the 6 second video. I have seen many pictures of wrecked police cars hit as fast as 70-80 MPH without fire. If I can find them I will post them.

China is building a 300 million dollar truck assembly plant in Tijuana, Mexico and exporting them to the U.S. via Mexico, which IS parrt of NAFTA, and skirting the 25% tariff imposed on directly importing vehicles from China. I apologize for not getting crazy technical. Anyway, Mexico makes money, China makes money, and we, the U.S., get screwed yet again.
