    I dropped my new rotating assembly off to the machinist last week and he asked me to bring in my IW damper, IW adapter plate and Metco pulley. I thought the same thing, that the rotating assembly was all that needed to be balanced with an internally balanced engine. Not if you want a smooth revving engine. Which of course means more horsepower and longer life also.

    Yep... When I was at Ferris State, I went for auto machinist. We balanced many engines, all were done with anything that rotated on the crankshaft.
