    Console & Guage Pod remove/install

Anyone have a diagram and instructions on how to remove / install either the guage pod and/or the center console?

I need to mount a switch in one of the two and need to see how hard it is to remove either/both of them.

    Thanks in advance!

From what I remember, the guage pod is removed by grabbing the sides of the pod, and pulling out towards you. Take your time, it's a tight fit between the console and the pod. Once the pod is removed, you can access the fasteners to remove the console.

What TTA said. Grab the rear corners of the pod and pull toward you and slightly down. It's fastened with two alligator clips.

Note: be sure to move the gear shift back into neutral or 2nd for more room.

    Mounting the switch...

Thanks everyone for the 411 on the pod removal. I thought it was something like this but it is always better to check first.

Soon as I get whichever switch I settle on mounted, I'll get more pictures.
