One of a kind police Marauder with just 36k

Check out this one of a kind 1964 Park Lane Marauder police car I just documented this week.

It was reportedly used by the MA state police. Wow, just wow!
    1963 Marauder S-55, Super Marauder 406
Only factory 406 powered Marauder, and earliest built Marauder documented to still exist.

Those valve covers are WAY more rare than the uber rare wheel covers it's wearing. I only know of 2 sets that exist.

I want to make a correction. The car was owned by a MA state trooper, but was not used by the police department.

Regardless, it does have the very rare Police Interceptor engine and I've been told in the past that the rules at the time required you to be a police agency, or in this case a police official to order this option.

And on top of all of that it's still an absolutely incredible car.

Completely Bad A$$... Thanks for sharing.

I hope someday 50 plus year from now my son opens his garage and has his "Black Out edition" Vortech Supercharged Marauder with a black big brake kit etc. It should have about 38,000 miles by then.

And hopefully it will be worth more than it is now--and he will have a community like you all to share it with.

With this car I would think that "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" would apply...

Still, an interesting question ! What do you think it would go for at auction ?

I bid $8.00, .but I'm wondering if that colour of red would affect the performance, I do know that they put the cop chip in that one
