    Throttle body

I want to replace the stock throttle body off the intake manifold with an Accufab unit. I am not sure which of the Cobra or Mach 1 choices will work best for my 2004 ride. My goal is increased air/hp. I appreciate your input toward the best possible unit to meet my goal.

The mach 1 is the correct one.
You will only see a increase in hp on a supercharged engine at wot.

I have the 03-04 Cobra one.

I'm not sure what others are doing to make the single blade clear. I gutted my upper intake and welded up some of the IAC bypass.

btw, bob started that bigger throttle body crap for me. i haven't decided if i should send him a bill or flowers

yes had to do some gutting, also added some weld to the bottom lip of the intake, eliminated the big bung on top (milled off and welded shut) and resurfaced the mating areas.

there are pics in a thread somewhere.

expect extra work, headaches and expense.

    now i know you're in!!!

I also went with the Mach 1 unit from Accufab.

There is no HP increase ...BUT... the increased throttle response was obvious.
