    Codes After SW exhaust install

Last night on my way home from work, the Check Engine light came on. When I got home, I plugged my reader in and came back with P0153 as the current fault and P0133 pending fault. P0153 is driver side upstream sensor (bank 2 sensor 1) circuit slow response, P0133 is passenger upstream circuit slow response.

I've had the headers installed for 2-3 weeks now with no issues. Why now when I'm due for emissions?

Did you have your tune adjusted for the headers?

Negative. It's news to me that it's necessary. Car is still on stock tune

You need a tune before you hurt the motor.

You would not have happened to acidentally plugged in the o2's to the opposite banks did you? - its easy and causes some pretty weird symptoms/codes.

The tune adjusts for the delayed response as your o2's are now farther away.

That is only easy to do on a Mustang.

    Near impossible on a MM.

Green's are up front. Blue's in back. Guess I'll be borrowing a car until I can pony up the cash for the tuner and tune

Just avoid any WOT runs or aggressive driving, drive it like a grandpa.

Like I said - its pretty easy.

Does not usually happen when your working on the exhuast - it usually happens when the transmission or engine is removed. Seen a handful of cases on Panthers before.

    Codes After SW exhaust install

You'd have to be a real moron to mix up the connectors..! Is that even possible? Like for real?

Here's a semi related question. If you need a tune to run headers, how do you pass emissions? Wouldn't it throw a code like the OP?
Buying things I don't need, with money I don't have, to impress people I don't know!!!
