    New Member From PA

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I have been a member of some of the other CV sites for quite some time and I also enjoy reading the articles/write-ups on this site as well. Decided time to join. I currently own a 2001 CV LX Sport (since new), with 47,xxx miles. Never been in the PA snow, salt, slop, etc. Very late production model (build date: 5/31/2001). Additionally, this spring picked up a one-owner 2000 CV base model with the HPP package as the only option. Not a speck of rust anywhere. Amazon Green with tan cloth. Currently 103,xxx and bone stock. This also won't get driven in the PA winters. I have attended the Ford Nationals at Carlisle since they began and only have missed about 4-5 years of them. I always enjoy looking at the marauders up on the mountain. You folks certainly manage to get quite a turn out, very impressive. I'll stick a couple of pics on here of my Vics.

Thanks for the welcome. I am just above Harrisburg. The HPP stands for Handling and Performance Package. The Sport Package would be virtually the same as the LSE package in the MGM.
The only difference from a normal Vic is that the HPP includes the fancy wheel, dual exhaust, rear air suspension, keyless entry keypad, larger diameter rear sway bar and also a 3.55 open rear as standard. The dual exhaust gives you about 15 more horses but from what I understand the MAF as well as the engine tuning are the same as a "normal" Vic IIRC.

Do you know if all the HHP comes with center console( like the Sport and GM LSE models) and aluminum drive shafts or is the HHP also on the bench seat models? Reason I'm asking I saw one for sale but it did not show pics of interior just exterior and engine.

As far as I know, the HPP packages did not come with a center console. The Sport came out mid-year 2001 production, that would have had the center console and the five spoke 17" wheels, dual exhaust, monochrome paint treatment (although there were some variants from what I have read that did not have the body color grille). Additionally, the Sports and HPP's did not have the aluminum driveshaft. The Sports also had a 3.27 open rear.
