Sounds like a tire kicker had a joy ride on your dime. Put the car in a ditch on test drive. Wanted to see if a 400 hp car could spin the tires ? My god prequalify any prospective buyer before you hand over the keys. Step one: This is the price none negotiable. Or I do have a little wiggle room. Step two: Now that you have seen everything you like everything inside outside. It is everything I said it was. You have heard the sound of motor, you understand the price. If it drive as it should are you ready to make a deal today ? Will it be cash or check ?

Mistakes were made, I sure have learned a lesson! Noone was hurt and thats really all I care about, the car can and will be replaced. Insurance has been in contact with me, they said his insurance will cover it. Im gathering all documentation I can get to help recover all I have in the car and he said if they don't cover it all he will give me the rest of the money to pay for what my listing price was.

My worst nightmare. I will take a prospective buyer for a ride, if the buyer shows ability to buy after a ride in the passenger seat then we can talk.
I didn't even ask to drive mine when I looked at it until I was sure I was ready to make the buy.

That sucks, I was just thinking about ways of selling mine and buying yours til I kept reading. I got more miles than you and have the exact same common flaws but somebody would break down and give me $10,000 im sure then I could've added the rest from my savings. Going that route would've saved me Thousands instead of modding my current car. Sorry to hear about the wreck but at least your customer was decent.
