I have the flowmaster 40's with rear cats removed and Megs 4 inch res delete tips.

Car sounds great and everywhere I go people comment on how they love the exhaust.

Love cruisin downtown with the overdrive off, turns a lot of heads.

FlowMaster 40's Stainless Works Headers and Exhaust, Cats and Megs inch tips. I love the sound of this system. It was suggested to me by Flow Master that the Super 44's would get me pulled over a lot in Chicago. I have a video somewhere, when I find I will post it. it is on Facebook Vincent R Clarke

Flowmaster 40s here also & stock tips. Is removing the rear cats legal? Would it throw a code or fail inspection? I'm in RI. and also would like a slightly more aggressive sound (WITHIN THE LAW).

    Thanks!

Removing the rear cats IS illegal. (At least here in Illinois it is) but the Mm will not throw a code and it has 2 other cats, good enough and because of their lazy emission testing practices, they will not go under there to inspect. So the emission government can kiss my ass.

The exhaust shop I used to have do my work told me fines are handed out (if caught) if a car leaves without a minimum of (1) converter. The EPA representative even went on to say that it is written as "(1) per car, not single/dual.." Shows how many gear heads there is writing that up.

But then your told be the emissions place that follows the USEPA guidelines and it states no tampering. I.E. STOCK! Who the **** even knows what they're looking at down at the testing lanes? All they know is pass/fail.
