All done. just need to let it dry some more, which won't be a problem.

I used to run twin A1000s on my Buick when they were under the paxton brand name, excellent pumps and very quiet!
Fuel should be a problem anymore!

Not what Sherm thinks. He's heard one with the car not running. Its prolly not bad with the car running. We will see. Its all about compromise I guess.
I'm glad to hear you had good dealings with them. You hear all kinds of crap on the internetz.
Few more pics in the car. I'll get some more when its back on the ground and the pump mounted.
Edit: Oh yeah and if anyone decides to drop their tank make sure you buy the new studs from the dealer. It IS doable without them but a pain. I sold a ton of them when I worked at the dealer, now I know why.

Looks real good, those pictures thought the bungs is neat. The tank looks like it will still be invisible to those from behind. You got me all fired up to tinker on my vehicles when the weather gets a bit better.
For more of a street car I would suggest going 3.5" down from the bottom of the tank. I went with 4.5" here to get more volume in the sump. I don't think the 4.5" is too low though as its not to far from the center of the tire. Only thing you would really have to worry about is a big animal or a tire tread going under the car. Although you could weld a deflector to the axle if you want to. Also a lowered car may have trouble with the 4.5" sump.

That is a really cool way of getting that sump done, nice job!
Also a big +1 on the fuel tank strap studs, ones from the dealer are cheap and so much less hassle!

I think this is where the pump is gonna sit.
All you should see is a couple lines.

That's a great spot, should get lots of cool air back there. Easy to service also.
Thanks, thats what we're thinking too. I'll have to look at another car to see if it will fit there with the crash bar in place.

Awesome location, nice plumbing!

I'm moving the pump. Too hard to get the huge wrenches up there to tighten -12 fittings. I've got it hanging just need to get some longer bolts.
~Chris
Pump went to here. And it is loud! And glad we got the driver module with it cause the regulator couldn't keep the pressure down at idle.
And some pics of the fuel lines, rails and regulator.

JEEZ Chris!
