Your Super Charged MM and what you like about it!

I wanted to start a thread about your MM and your Super Charger.

I would like to know what you have and what you like about it.

This is not a thread about roots vs Centrifical. So please don't start one.

Do not make any comaprisons about the two options.

    1. What Blower do you have?
    2. What mods are done to your car?
    3. How many miles do you have on the car with the blower?
    4. Have you had any problems since the blower was installed?
    5. Did you Install you blower or did you have it done?
    6. What was the cost of Install?
    7. Who did you Install and were you happy?
    8. Is there anything you would like to change about your blower setup?
    9. If you have run at the track what is your best times 60, 1/8 1/4 and what were the condtions?
    10. Did you have a warranty on your blower? If so what was it?

    Trilogy #48
Installed in Sept. 2004 by Lidio's crew at Alt. Auto
$8K total with trip out there....
    4.10's, 2400 stall PITC
    No problems what so ever...
    Very happy...
    3.2 inch pulley for 10.5psi
428rwhp and 429rwt with JLT intake

    On Stock OEM Tires:

    Best 0-60 foot time 1.85
    0-60mph 4.5 seconds
    Best 1/4 = 12.541
    Best trap speed = 110mph

4515lbs race trim with me in it.....

No warranty as I went with a smaller pulley...otherwise the Trilogy warranty is 1 year I believe.

Shooting for low 12's next summer....maybe a smaller pulley, larger MAF (80-90mm) and a new throttle body.

    Color me happy!

I love the low end torque the roots puts out. To each their own....I chose the roots because of the extreme weight of the car. Just my choice and opinion.

yes, the blower can be heard from inside the car. this was an attractive feature for me, as i find the supercharger whine addicting. an added bonus is when the driver of the car next to you hears it. the look on their faces is priceless.

This thread is not to judge any ones choice of blowers. It is to give information to people that are looking to add a blower. Thank you for you response thus far.

Trilogy Kit #24 on my 2003 Marauder.I LUV the results I've obtained w/this S/Cer kit. This car flies!!!! It goes like it has a big block engine under the hood!!!And I really like the way the Supercharger looks sitting on top of the engine. I have the standard 3.4" blower pulley that the Trilogy kit comes with, which provides 9.5 PSI of boost. So I've kept the Eaton one year S/Cer warantee intact. It doesn't whine a real lot, and you can barely hear the whine from inside the car. I mean you really haver to listen for it, and you have to know what you're listening for in order to even notice it. But part of that might be due to the fact that I have the Kooks headers and exhaust package since the car is louder than it was w/the factory exhaust.

I ran two consecutive 12.2 ET's back in June of this year during 70 degree temperatures w/the car the way it is which includes all the modifications you see in my sig below. I have absolutely no complaints w/the Trilogy S/Cer set-up, and the only problem I've had was a very minor one and was easily taken care of. It was a slight and occasional slip of the belts, so I installed the Goodyear "Gatorback" belts on the accessory drive pullies as well as on the blower pulley, and that corrected the problem.

My car has 19K on the clock, and 8K on it since the S/Cer installation. And the installation didn't cost me anything since I installed the S/Cer kit myself. BTW, I commend you for the way you've started this thread and set it up, since it should provide others w/information while at the same time avoid any heated S/Cer debates. My hat's off to you.
