If you drove/ or worked at the Fort Lauderdale Auto Auction in the past in the first week of January & they know you then you could be invited to drive at this one or others. This rule comes from the* President of the South Florida Mercury Club* & The * President of the Thunder Bird Club of South Florida*. Even though I'm a good friend with both Presidents of those clubs that is their rule. Next year when I put up the post for the January Auction let me know your interested & I be happy to ask them for you.

You're right Zoltan, a long day, but very interesting and lots of camaradeship between the "volunteer chauffeurs"...a bunch of nice guys!

Another great day of driving some of the nicest cars around. Now if any of you are sports fans and you ever say the movie " The Brian Piccolo Story " you would know one of his best friends in life was : Hall of Famer Gale Sayers. Well he was their also on stage & hanging out . What a nice guy. Their was other famous people their also walking around & bidding on cars too. I had my eye on a 1967 GTX But It was a little out of my price range and sold for $42,000.00 plus 10% to the auction. Plus I met a few people who flew in out of state just too buy this car so I know I was out of luck. . So many Beautiful Cars . What a great auction to go too .
