To my good friends at Mo's

    My 56 hour tune.

Let's start from the beginning. Communication. No matter if it were an email, phone call, text, conference call, or even smoke signals (oh believe me, there was!) ALL were answered, IMMEDIATELY!

A short conference call to both Jeff and Marty and I was steered into the right direction and calls were put out to Summit and plastic got burnt. Quickly.

Brandon and I had a few hiccups the day we were supposed to leave and ended up not loading the trailer till midnight. We were supposed to be at the shop at 8:30 AM. I know adding two different two digit numbers can be challenging to some but last I knew that 12 hour trip meant around noon arrival.. They were totally cool and stressed not to worry and drive safe. My Supercrew was very pleased to ease up off the cruise at 90mph and rewarded me with 9MPG instead of 8!! WOO HOO!

On the rollers Jeff noticed a misfire on cyl 8 right away and diagnosed it as a severed coil wire in under a minute. I went to work de pinning it and away we went. Next up throttle was sticking, I forgot to add the return spring. Oops, fixed. The plugs I had just installed were already trashed so I replaced them as well.

Jeff ended up shutting her down at only 5,200 RPM's as we had already achieved 562 at only 17#s on 93 and blew a vacuum line right off LOL. We decided to flog it to 19#s and either set the rev limiter to that point or use the Tial blowoff I left on as a back up to bleed out the boost. I believe it was 6,000 RPM's we hit 19#s and walked away with 603/559.

Next up 110 octane tune with the filter off. Time to breathe! Ended up doing a burn out on the dyno at around 650hp so we added some dead weight. two guys to the trunk and two more took a ride in the backseat.

704/601 and the Ford Racing clutch said "I don't. think. so!"

These numbers would have skyrocketed "way over 800" according to Jeff had I had the time to install my Alky Control meth, add head studs, and get a real clutch.

The test drive with Jeff at the wheel? I NEARLY CRAPPED MY PANTS! Holy moly this car is a ballistic missile and even sounds like war. I can honestly say I'm now scared of it.

Between the nice dinner treated to us from Marty and Mizz Mo, all my questions asked, NICE tool chest and shop equipment at my disposal, friendliness, and most importantly RESPECT, all I can say is WOW! You are ALL a true testament to "southern hospitality"!

A truly good time had and one hell of an outcome! You all helped complete my pet project Mr. Hyde.

    Thank you ALL!
