    2003 Marauder, 42k miles, $14,000.

    http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forum...ad.php?t=72529

    - 42,000 miles now
    - BCM replaced with FastBlackMerc remanned unit
    - K&N drop in filter to replace stock paper filter
    - Another oil change with Mobil 1 and Motorcraft filter
    - There are a couple more blemishes in the roof.

Always garaged and occasionally driven. I did make a few runs down the strip last fall before I put in the K&N and it ran a 15.15 @ 93.2 mph, so you are getting an "above average" stock one!

The blemishes in the roof look like bird droppings. There are half a dozen of them and the clearcoat looks hazy in those spots. I bought it this way and since then there are a couple more spots. The hood/trunk/grill/bumpers all look great, but I would probably consider just respraying the roof since the entire car is soooo nice. Or you can put it off like I've been doing.

That's it, I love the car, but I can't justify it sitting when I have a truck loan.

Is anyone interested in a low mile bone stock Marauder? Is my price too high? Seems like people are willing to buy well used Marauders for around $10,000. Maybe the market for the unmolested ones is disappearing?

As a reference I paid 10k for a blue 65k marauder with not great paint and it needed exhaust work. Some idiot went straight pipes.

Yes Trevor you weren't the only one.......

I think the price is pretty good. If I had not just dumped a ton of money into my duraburb I would be all over it. I need to save up for a little bit, but I will be looking for a stock clean marauder hopefully soon.

I paid 15K for a flawless , garage kept 300A/B back in April.

I don't see anything wrong with your 'Ask"...it's the limited exposure that's holding up the sale.

I have had the best of luck with Buying and Selling on Craigslist....you would be surprised how much cheap exposure this gets you....and some people will come from along ways to buy exactly the type of car you are trying to sell.

I see cars with much higher mileage going at retail establishments from time to time. The prices being asked on Ebay are often just completely out of hand by comparison to yours.

    Good Luck.....Hold your asking price...Advertise !!!!

A couple people asked for pics of the roof so here they are:

I placed a plastic valve stem cap in the middle of the roof. Just next to it is a small blister in the paint. I left the cap there in all the pics too. The other hazy spots came out pretty good on the camera and are "bird dropping" size. The roof really isn't horrible, but it's not mint like the rest of the car. Also take note on the mileage...guess I was off about 1000 miles. Shows you how much I drive it.

And the tires on back are original BFG's. The original owner replaced them one while BFG was still making them. They currently have about 50% tread.

The price isnt bad. Blemishes on the roof isnt major. I recently had to purchase a MM from a member, after finding out what it would cost to put mines back together, the second choice was the best option. I had to settle for 40K instead of mines with 23K. I will put the 23K one back together in time. GLWS

The price is great in my opinion. When I sold mine I had listed it everywhere, from CL to Autotrader and twice on Ebay. I got some serious buyers on CL, but at the end I sold it through a local deal via ebay. One thing though, avoid auctions on ebay, you have plenty of people bidding but very few are serious buyers, I had to list mine auction style two or three times due to dishonest bidders.

Best wishes in your sale, I'm looking for another one but cheaper, but your price is great!
