    Billet black hood hinges

Anyone replace their Marauder hood hinges with attractive billet or steel aftermarket parts? All my searches yield products for 1960s Ford; no universal or later model Ford compatible.

My intent is to find a well made set of hinges and, if needed, have them anodized (for aluminum) or powder coated (steel). And yes, if all else fails, I will do so for the stock hinges. I was hoping for a better design.

LOL, those nostalgic hinges were from a better time when art reigned. Multiple moving parts and an engineering achievement in durability. Now we are stuck with ONE pivot point and a captive hook that keeps the hood from coming through the windshield in a collision. I think you may have better luck carving a pair from raw billet before you'd see "Taxi and Police" custom hood hinges.
