Stock internals - Trilogy Pulley size

The Trilogy kits came with a 3.4" Upper Pulley. The smaller pulleys are 3.2" and 3.0 ". I presently have a 3.2" on mine.

Question is, can our stock internals handle the 3.0 " pulley. Also, what size injectors are needed to feed that extra boost? Trilogy kit upgraded from 24# to 39#.

My fuel pump is already upgraded to a 320 LPH.

Just wondering what envelopes other Trilogy with stock internals are pushing.

Go big or go home, or, in this case go small.....j/k.

I wouldn't produce more than 10-11 pounds on a stock motor, if you car is a DTR, more boost won't help it anyhow.......lol.

Sweet, i'll pop on that 3.0 pulley for the next tune.

I am at 9.7 lb boost with the 3.2 pulley. As per the DYNO Run in 2010. How much more boost does a .2" drop in pulley size generate?

I'm also on a 3.2" pulley, stock internals, stock fuel pump w/KB BoostAPump. I think we could get away with the 3.0", but would need to watch A/F closely while tuning. I have a 3.0 and 2.8 stashed away. I also have a set of 60lb injectors on standby as well as a Ford GT pump. And a Teksid block too.

The most I've heard of pushing the stock block/internals were members MI2QWK4U at 517rwhp, and I think mpearce was at 480rwhp.

    I am seriously considering this:

MMR 5.0 STROKER 1000S Forged Shortblock (up to 1000 RWHP)
    Starting at: $5,199.99
This STROKER shortblock adds .4 liters to your Mustang engine without anyone knowing, all factory parts bolt right on! Great for blowers, turbo or Nitrous. With no other changes this Stroker shortblock will add up to 40HP and 40ft lbs of torque! This shortblock can support up to 1000 Rear wheel horsepower!!

Why not put forge internals in the original block?

I'm only guessing it can't withstand 1000hp to the crank

    But how much 800

I'm sure the results are somewhere in this forum

Yeah. the stock block will likely take about that, maybe a little less. I really like the new 302 boss block. Great technology and durability. Turnaround is much faster with a shortblock built and delivered. Swap a few parts and up and running.

the bottleneck is the blower. it has a choke point and the more boost the more heat. not many have exceeded 500 rwhp with the rotary 1.6 trilogy

I'm curious why you only have 9.7? My 3.2 was pushing 11.7 and making 431/456 with nothing else but a JLT (air filter only), a lightning MAF, and a MAFia.

I was making 472rwhp on a stock block, it did feel as though it was ready to grenade whenever I had been running it hard......racing prius's and civics.....
