4400 lbs is a lot of weight to be slinging around on a track. May be slower in the corners but easily made up on the straight aways. Then you can brake late with the 15" 6 piston brembos..

I'm not a road course driver but I am hell in Grand Tourismo.

I think the car handles like a 3000lb car... So it's a good starting point. I was shocked to be honest with the handling when I drove it around the 5 mile oval alone. 100+mph felt like 50mph to me. Always liked that in some of the luxury cars I've worked on, didn't expect that out of this monster tho!
    I have 5 Marauders...

    ask LJI372 about that HEHEHE

Still a 4400 lb curb weight PLUS driver and the weight wasn't noted as dry or wet. The 275 series tire might not be enough for it to handle as well as it could.

The Z/28 comes with 305 series tires which is matched properly for it.

Agreed the 275 series tire is not enough for this car for handling, however this car is mainly a hp war / straight line winner.

From my understanding a 275 was the widest they could go with current body.

In reading ,through the years GM has been consistant with making good handling cars .Hell ,back in the 60's rear sway bars were installed on certain models and Pontiac was at the head of the class..

Yep 4,400 lbs is a pig...
but 707 HP can move any pig quickly.

The problem is those puny tires that they put under the wheel wells.
275s look totally lost on that huge ponycar!

"PREMIUM" : 6 month Plan will do. $$$$ most people will use Multi car discount plan, The Cat will be most likely the second or third car ,not the daily driver.

This car has more punch than Dodge is claiming. Probably in the 740-50 range conservatively based on RWHP numbers that have been posted

the Challenger is one of the most expensive cars to insure - clearly statistics prove its stolen, damaged, etc more than most. I checked into insuring an SRT8 before deciding on rebuilding the MM. The yearly increase in insurance was crazy.

I'll give USAS a call tomorrow, I forgot to factor in that big cost. I'm sure they'll be ridiculous
