    Question Global Spark

    Ok from what i am interpreting Global Spark will add more spark to the engine... For an NA car what should i increase my global spark to?

    Add 60 degrees of timing lol sike naw man dont add anything. everything is already done in your tune. Unless you wanna see your car blow up

    Not familiar with the term, maybe Global Spark Adder? If so, that is telling the tune to add that many degrees of advance (or retard if you use a - sign) to the timing table across the entire operating range of operating parameters including load, rpm, throttle position, etc...

    He is talking about in his tune via Xcal2. The first user end adjustment in the tune is Global Spark, me personally I wouldn't touch it if it's a Zack tune since he has already made the timing increase.

    Every car is different. I would suggest data logging first to see if your car will accept more timing without hitting the knock sensor.

    My tuning is way different because I can only get 91* here

    If you have, an X Cal-2 purchased from an SCT Tuner, and tunes loaded by that particular tuner for your particular vehicle. DON'T TOUCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're just looking for problems, that could turn into a nightmare, Mike D.

    This is not some thing to even joke about, first of all global spark adder can and will blow the car up if you have no idea as to what you are doing.
