You can get a 3" on there if you wanted to, but that is pointless

It's the after the coma quip. Go back and re-read what you posted and pretend you are doing the job for the first time.

The OP still hasn't got an appropriate answer is it 2", 2 1/4", 2 1/2"?

The stock piping itself is 2.25" I believe

I have 2.5" T309 stainless on mine, cut off down tube piping at the stock flange in front of the first set of cats and 2.5" all the way to the tips.

These factory manifolds are a bottle neck anyway ,bigger tubing will help some .Why didn't they have shorty headers from factory I'll never know .

The factory manifolds cannot take advantage of 3" diameter pipe as any exhaust is only as efficient as its smallest point.

If you can fit a 3" pipe, basic logic dictates you can fit any of the diameters he inquired about.

    Scary how some perceive things

Talk about perceiving things the OP never even asked what was the biggest size just what size is the manifold pipe.

Scarier that some people need to offer advice for questions not even in play.

Really? The first post does not ask the factory size. More so an inquiry of maximum diameter.
But you're older and wiser. So you win
