Congrats! Car looks awesome! I'm new to your story, how was this a rescue, and how bad was it when you found it?

Here is my original thread before I bought the car. If you have any other questions, ask away!

As bad as it might have sounded, this is one of the best car's I have ever owned!

Wow! Sounds like a pretty good turn around, comparing how you described it to how it looks now! But you never did say, how much did that bad boy cost to start with?...

I took the advice of the people on this forum. They basically said without the front and rear Marauder bumpers, it's worth what a comparable Crown Vic/P71 would be worth. And that was spot on. The sellers were asking $5500 if I remember correctly. I bought it for less (of course). Luckily, as of now, I have invested in it what is probably worth or maybe (hopefully) somewhat less..

Everything else works as it is supposed to. No leaks and runs great! Really, the only thing left to do is replace the front door panels because the goof before me installed a stereo system that had tweeters screwed into the top corner. Of course, he removed the stereo and it's components, leaving the screw holes.
