    Larger inter cooler reservoir

I bought the 90's Crown Vic expansion tank to use as a larger reservoir. For those that have done the same, what did you use to plumb the return into the tank?

I'm looking for the modification to the tank. What kind of fitting is used?

Traditionally intercooler tanks have 2 fittings and the system flows through the intercooler. The older style resevior only has one and a vent fitting.

I just ran one hose down from the resevior to a T fitting on hoses that run from my heat exchanger to my intercooler. Took a while to get all the air bubbles out but it works.

Here is one modified. I want to do this, but don't know what kind of fitting this is. I didn't know if the tank just had a hole drilled in it, then a pipe thread fitting screwed in. Any help is appreciated. I got this picture from a thread talking about the tanks, but it doesn't say how to modify it. Any help is appreciated.
