    2003 Marauder radiator

    Hi,
I am going to have to replace my radiator....Can the radiator come out alone or does the AC condensor need to also come out?

The radiator will come out alone, or with trans and power steering coolers attached.

I am going to need a new radiator... Should I only use a Ford Part and stay away from aftermarket?

An aluminum aftermarket radiator should be fine, unless you can find the Motorcraft part at or near the same price as the aftermarket unit.

Made an attempt to take out the radiator. there are metal brackets on the AC condenser that slip into plastic holders on the radiator. the radiator must have went in first the the condenser to follow. I do see screws on the metal brackets on the AC condenser but should those come off? Looks almost impossible to get at them.
    Your help is appreciated.

Looks like a small pin hole in the radiator caused by the fan shroud....another great IDEA by Ford.....

My car will be 12 years old in November and at 262,000 miles it is simply the best car I have ever had regardless of some engineering anomalies!!

    2003 Marauder radiator

I replaced mine with a 3" Summit one. But it got relocated to fit so probably doesn't count.

Was the hole towards the bottom of the radiator? Before the summer minded the same thing. It looked like the fan shroud warped causing it to rub against the radiator fins.. I shaved about 1/8" off the lower part of the shroud so it would not happen again. Got a new OEM radiator from Ford for $300 wholesale, and they told me it was going to be obsolete soon.
