Thread: Cobra Flip Chip?

    Cobra Flip Chip?

Will a flip chip out of a Cobra fit on our Marauders? 2003 Cobra. I never saw any specific flip chips for our cars but I know some people have them. It just plugs into the PCM and there is a cord with a knob right?

Sure, it will fit. Just knock out the panel on the EEC and plug it in. Don't use it until you get it reprogrammed to meet the needs of your MM. Hopefully, it will accept your Trilogy/Lidio tuning, some older flip chips are not forward compatable, like early Diablos.

Any of the SCT Switch Chips for a Ford will work.

IMHO Jason, no. Nothing on that chip will work on your Marauder. As a blank chip that you can have programmed by an SCT dealer, offer 75 bucks. It's what DR is paying for trade-ins of 9100 HHPs against XCal2 purchases.

If you have a local tuner who can tune it on a Dyno for Cheap, $200 isn't a bad deal. If you don't have one around, then I agree w/ SergntMac.
