    Blender door actuator

Went on line rockauto.com I see there are two types of blender door acuators. What is the P/N for our blender door acuator ?
2004 marauder black purchased new. Sold 9/16 at 297,000 miles. Still ran strong didn't burn a drop of oil.
2003 marauder black 28,000 miles all stock. Garage Queen.
    2004 marauder red daily driver.

    The Ford P/N's are: XW7Z-19E616-BA or YH-1766

I see the Rock Auto site only lists Dorman parts. I'd be leery of using a Dorman part for a job that is very hard to do. I've heard of early and repeated failures of Dorman blend door actuators. For a few dollars more you can source a real Ford part.

Here are some genuine Ford parts on eBay:

At the Ford dealer I believe the part is about $75.00.

Going to be installing my Ford one in the spring... unless we get some nicer weather. Gotta to the BCM too....

Affirmative. Genuine Motorcraft part from tascaparts.com is $48.81

Curt, the other number you saw listed is the blend door actuator for cars with manual HVAC (as opposed to EATC).

OEM parts are the only way to go. Can't wait to get it fixed. Having to adjust the temp with the windows up & down every few minutes gets old. Thanks for all the help.
