How do you clean and shine that engine bay like it came out the show room?? What products work for you... Looking for that shine feed back and info would be great.

Spray bottle of Simple Green mixed 50/50 with water. Full strength for more difficult areas. Light water spray to wash off cleaner and residue. Cover or protect sensitive electrical components. Don't spray directly into or onto the alternator. I use several sizes of paint brushes to reach difficult areas and have plenty off rags and small towels available. Lots and lots of elbow grease along with several busted knuckles. Once it is clean and dry, I use CD2 Engine Protector (if you can find it). Otherwise I use Gunk Engine Spray Shine over the entire bay except the belts and alternator windings. The first time you do this it will take several hours or more. Keep it clean and you can dress it up in about an hour. For last minute touch ups at car shows, I use ICE Spray Detailer. It works inside the engine bay, too. Hope this helps.

After a complete wash and dry with a leaf blower I use an aerosol silicone dressing and it pretty much reaches everything.

I wouldn't use anything that might destroy aluminum like Simple Green (http://simplegreen.com/faqs/).
Get a few can of a citrus-based engine cleaner from a FLAPS, follow the directions on the can, get nylon bristle brushes for the tough greasy spots. If you have a compressor use it to dry the engine bay. After the engine bay is dry use the aforementioned CD2 Engine Detailer to shine the engine compartment. You do not want to use anything that stays wet like WD40, silicone, etc. If it stays wet it will attract / collect dirt.
Once you have the engine and bay cleaned hose it off as soon as it looks dirty. It will stay cleaner longer.
