    NEW JLT

My install of NEW JLT seems much much tighter and closer to the dip stick. Even impedes normal oil checking. Is this normal?

    My older JLT does not.

There has not been any change in the kit for the Marauder.
You should be able to move the tube in the elbow to any position you want.

    ^Yep.

Don't tighten all the clamps, just get them snug and then adjust the intake for clearance and then tighten down once your happy with where it is.
