    Need a new full exhaust system for my 5.0L motor

    I wish to replace my 2004 exhaust system with something high performance My application parameters are as follows:

    * must use catalytic converters - I live in CA and must pass smog
    * via a SCT tune module, I plan to employ a 'special' tuning map for CA smog testing. The rest of the time, I will employ the 'fast as I can go' map.
    * desire stainless steel
    * will work with a Ford Racing 5.0L small block - I am changing out the stock motor for the 5.0L Annihilator small block (M-6009-A46X):

    * FYI - will be using a Vortech supercharger system:

    So, what full exhaust system do you recommend for my application?

    The 5.0 is based off a 4.6... Nothing special there.

    With that said, stainless works.

    Actually, it cost $5199. I believe the shortblock is great solution for the project.

    Good to know. I will share with BRG Racing. I pay - they order and install.

    Please share a source where the M-6009-A46X shortblock can be obtained for significantly less.

    As Ford Racing no longer sells the M-6009-A46X, it is a sellers market. I paid $600.00 too much.

    Wish I had more quality short block choices.

    The Stainless Works kit is the best complete kit. I pieced my own system together though. Eastern Catalytic high flow bullet cats, Pypes stainless x-pipe, & Black Widow pro-venom 250 center/center mufflers. There are infinate ways to do an exhaust system to meet your personal taste for getting the right sound.
