    Cross Over Tube

Is it sufficient when installing the cross over pipe just cleaning and installing new O rings then seating the pipe or should I also use some gasket sealer ?

O-rings only. Make sure to clean up any corrosion on both the head and the COT and slide it in. Lubricate the O-rings with oil or di-electric grease.

I used both on my recent removal of the COT, better safe than sorry...

And if you cant find the O rings from ford, #20 O-rings from most hardware stores will also work.

Never ever use an o-ring from the hardware store. They will leak sooner than later.

I thought I was the only anal one that doesn't mind the price/waiting if need be.

Just too much of a PITA to fix after the fact.

    ^^this.
Sent several members complimentary o-rings to keep the coolant flowing.

You can still get 25 packs, offered in two different materials (viton or something?)
I just bought the standard part number bag when I needed a pair.
