Pulling drivers side head in car

Anybody have some guidance on doing this? #8 exhaust valve is clanking away when the engine is warm. I'm going to put another head on it and do the timing set while I'm in there. Drivers side looks a lot easier, but I'm looking for some write up(s) on doing in while the engine is still in the car. Thanks.

First of all, do both heads.
Wiper cowl, AC compressor, ps pump come off. Then the balancer, cam covers, timing cover. You can leave the manifolds bolted to the heads during removal

I have Kooks headers, but I imagine I can just unbolt them at the head and let them stay on the exhaust. Do I have to unbolt a motor mount and jack up one side at a time?

I've removed the drivers side with a true long tube still attached.

I also did it in like 2 1/2 hours. Leaving the header on was way faster..

Awesome, maybe I'll just do that then. Are there any write ups available on setting up the cam timing, taking it apart the easiest, and putting it back together?

Did a leakdown test. 100 psi every cylinder was between 2-4%. I was really surprised. But I could feel a tiny bit coming out of the driver side breather hose that builds up when I hold it shut. I fired up the car, and when I disconnect that breather hose and put my thumb over it, as pressure builds the knocking slowly goes away...

Bob this kit will work for the Marauder? I know there are a few different 4V engines out there. Are the tensioners the metal ones or the plastic ones. I remember Ctlraven saying the metal ones are better.

Yes, I got mine from JEGS. Its so complete that it even comes with new timing cover bolts.

    And yes, metal tensioners.
