A 4.6 4v is the same motor that is in the konigsee, it makes 1018 whp on 22lbs. its stroked to 4.8L, then the 5.3 is the motor that is in there 1400hp car.

These motors will make as much power as you can ever dream of. They don't really take that much money to reach 700+ HP, It cost me almost 15K to reach that goal, and that was WITH buying everything to swap the car over to 4v.

I rode in a 2014 Mustang Shelby GT today. BRG Racing did the work on the car rated ar 714 rwhp! The car simply had too much hp for me. Each shift snapped your neck back in a violent rush. The car has done 9's in 1/4 mile.

The point is you are right and 500 hp is all I will need.

You 600 + Marauder guys are crazy! I have owned race bikes for twenty years and know a thing or two about going fast. I have never owned a fast car. The acceleration I felt today was violent. A Marauder with 600 + hp requires a big pair. Mine are chipmunk sized, cause the ride I experienced today made me pee myself.

I agree. I'm only making 441rwhp and mine now feels slow when it once felt pretty fast compared to stock. I been thinking of trying to up the boost 2 psi LOL!!!

    OMG OMG OMG WHY?
An aluminum block is wet sleeved to make 323 cubic inches.
All you are doing is asking for trouble.
And send them your own valve springs. I too had one break on me but luckily the valve did not fall down.

You could have spent 4k on a fully forged 4.6 and thrown 30psi at it.
Stroker engines have a shorter life span than a non-stroked, because the pistons travel at a much faster speed ALL THE TIME.

Hey what do we know, and afterall it's your money (which you've wasted)

horespower junkies! this site is a group hug for them.

I never started with a nice, reliable low 12 second car and turned it into a 9 second race car with lights. nope.

Yea the risk of longevity issues of a wet sleeved aluminum block is not worth the 80LB difference, especially on an already ridiculously heavy engine and car.

You'd be better off going more wild and staying at the 4.6 displacement.

Leave 5.3 to the Boss block.
