Marty, I just noticed this thread. Love it! This was my high school ride. Love the 74 and have fantasized about finding a replacement. Nice tasteful mods, although I am partial to the original wheels. Those stripes were the best option for Z28 and only one year if I recall.

Very very nice. Let me know when you want to sell. Maybe the stars will be aligned.

Sorry Marty! Wrap-around back glass ftw! That's why 75 is my 2nd fav Camaro. Rear wrap-around finished off the '74 look and it had metal bumpers (even if they were not chrome). Absolutely hated the '76 when the beginning of the plastic covered bumpers started.

God I miss real chrome metal bumpers...

I can't believe I'm just now reading this thread! I've had 4 myself. (73 RS Z28, 77 Type LT, 79 Z28, n a 81 Z28) I always loved 74s! The small window carry over from 73, and the new front shiny metal bumper, that would last for 4 years. The stripes were bold, and it was the last year for the Z28 until 77. It's AMAZING what you've done with it! Love the cup holders! Looks frickin bad ass!

    Thanks!

I am searching a '79 or '80 preferably with a really good body, preferably in red, that need a motor/trans swap.

I already have my trans and am hording other parts for when the "right" car pops up!

Our shop is closed on Mondays so we decided to use our down time to toss my car on the rollers, finish the tuning and see what kind of power the car was putting down.

    The final numbers were 333rwhp/335Tq

Ignore the inverted spikes on the graph. Our tac signal was all screwed up on the dyno today. Apparently the dyno did not want to be bothered on its day off.
