Dyno tuning for the Marauder Event

Ok here is what we are trying to do, this very important to act on this right away, I must have 15 confirmed slots by Friday. I can have a portable Dyno at the event. Jerry will be there to tune cars we must get at least 20 cars min, I must have a 100.00 non refundable deposit by credit card, I will not run any credit cards till I get 15 confirmed orders. Jerry will flash any ones EEC for 150.00 he will tune the car with a chip for 250.00. Jerry will tweaK Any one that has our tuning for 100.00. The reason for the Non refundable deposit is we will have to pay Richard Johnson to drive to Indy to set up his dyno there, the club nor my self cannot aford to pay this if we have a bunch of no shows, this is you chance to get the best tuning there is for our cars. Richard will also offer pulls just to check AF and RWHP # for 75 a pop.

    So call me at 904-276-5003

    Dennis,
I'll call you this after afternoon to reserve my spot on the Indy Dyno.
    Questions:
    1. I assume $75 is for 3 dyno pulls, no tuning. Right?
    2. Dyno session at Indy is Fri. July 30th at what time and where?

    Thanks,
    Gordon B

    Dennis,
When you have time, pls provide us the LOCATION of the Indy dyno and the planned schedule. I assume that there will be assigned times for each person. That way, we can do other things and not have to be there for the entire 9-4 dyno times.
    Appreciate you feedback here.
I have signed up for a $75 3-pull with AF noted, but not a full-blown Dyno Tune. My goal is to get a documented baseline now that I have about 6000 miles on the car.
    Thanks,
    GordonB

Gordon, I am replying as to the location of the Indy Dyno because Dennis won't get back to you until later when his shop closes down(if then LOL) The plans are to have a portable dyno present at IRP, as to where at IRP, no one knows. Dennis will advise on the timing and such I am sure when we get all the deposits(15) roped in. The track opens at 8 and dragging starts at 9 until 4, track closes at 5. There should be enough time to get everyone in.
Hope this helps until Dennis can get back to you

    mercman,
Thank you for the reply. IRP at/near the Drags is what I was hoping to hear so that we can do something else instead of just hanging out at the Dyno. I just want to get a baseline read on Blue MM. DTR MM now has about 168 miles -- not enough to take to Indy!

Just out of curiosity, theres NO dynojet facility anywhere in the Indianapolis area (home of the Indy 500) that can accomodate our group, somebody has to bring a portable?

    That's interesting.

    Donny, Donny, Donny TSK TSK!

Of course there are NUMEROUS dynos in Indy that can accomidate us BUT!!
Would you travel all the way to Indy to sit around a shop and wait to get dyno'ed? We are bringing a portable one in so that people can run the quarter mile after they have done a pull, also the comraderie of fellow MM owners that will be at IRP is something you can't put a price on!! Watching dynos, and the members dragging will make for a full day. Hope this answers your inquiry!!
