Don't fret my Marauder bretheren, Im selling this one because I want to find an Eaton Swap car already done like the beautiful Silver Birch one that sold here recently. It is not a daily driver, sits covered in climate controlled garage. 2003 MERCURY MARAUDER – 98K ORIGINAL MILES
I have wanted a Marauder since they came out. With only a limited number made between 03-04 they are becoming more and more rare every day. I searched for months before I purchased this car. I would find 2 types of Marauders – high mileage cars with 130k plus on the odometer that were usually beat up or showed their age, or low mileage pristine vehicles with high price tags. I was overjoyed to finally find this car. What I really liked about it was that the person I bought from was the 2nd owner and he owned the car for 9 years. He was a mechanic who was methodical about keeping up with all the maintenance. The car was in decent shape but I saw a lot of room for improvement. I have $6700 IN RECENT RECEIPTS AND UPGRADES – which is way more than I planned on spending on it, my loss = your gain. I really don’t want to sell it but it sits covered in my garage and a barely drive it. I am OCD when it comes to my cars and this one is no exception. It has a perfect Carfax and no issues – everything has been addressed and fixed – If you can find a better Marauder it will take you a long time and more money. I want $11k for the car – which I think is fair.
