Talking Looks like I wrote a song for The Misfits

Yes it's true. 8 Years ago I wrote a song about the story Christine. Sense The Misfits would always sing about horror movies, I figured this was the one movie they didn't cover. My drummer and I made a demo in the basement with our computers and our practice gear, just us two. We recorded a demo with me singing lead vocals and him doing back ups with me. I showed it to the band in the Marauder, they liked it, didn't love it.

Eight years go by, I call them to say happy thanksgiving. The son of the bass player tells me he was recording and wanted to know what I was up to. I told him I had that Christine song that was a heavy Danzig era influence. He asked me to email it to him, I did and he loved it!

Next month we are driving to the studio record this song, maybe help write others too. This could be huge for us. It might be a new Misfits song, Misfits WITH DANZIG song, a side project with a ton of support sense they know a ton of people and were pretty much the hottest band of this year due to the reunion shows.

As far was that this means for me. We could own part of the song after I copyright it again, work for hire or in a perfect world be direct support for the next major tour. I hope they continue with Danzig and we could play to 40,000 people a night.

We will see. I'm only posting this because a few of you ask what I'm up to and that I don't post much anymore. So, in between working 3 jobs and touring, this is the latest. I'm not putting it on social media because it seems like everyone wants something when things are looking up and ditch you when things fall down. You guys have been around since I was a teenager, the long haulers, so if anyone deserves to know it's you guys who I have known for almost half of my life, not people on facebook who I became "friends" with a month ago because we played a show in their town.

I hope to see you guys later!

This is a bio on a band member I was a fan of as a teenager.

We got to know the band members.

Recently he resurrected his old band persona and is playing at some of his old places. There was an article in the paper about him and I was surprised where his career had taken him.

You may see some parallels with your own career.

I will never forget his band because while I was attending a concert something happened that had a permanent impact on me, but that is another story.

That's awesome Dom and might be as cool as getting your name on a Misfits album as a back up singer like Becky

Good luck! Keep us updated. You just brought back memories of cruisin' in my '80 Firebird Formula while blaring "Twist of Cain".
