Real freakin nice... If I just waited a few weeks, I could've had THESE prices... but NOOOOOOOO, I had to be the first one to buy 'em. That's the price I pay for being an impulse buyer!

    I'm sure I've missed it....

    But which set is on your car, Logan? The 1 5/8" x 2.5" OR the 1 3/4" x 3" ?

A few hp here, a few there, and I just might have to keep this car after all!

My car has the 1 5/8" primaries with 2.5" collector. The larger primaries and collector are intended for supercharged applications.

Best part is, no price difference!!

I saw them on the MM's at Ennis. They are sweet.

Will the headers fit in an 02 Crown Vic?

    On cars w/out

the Supercharger, the bigger 1 3/4" primary tubes will most likely give a better increase in acceleration high up in the RPM band, however will also sacrifice some power down low in the RPM scale. Therefore since the Marauder's weak point is off the line acceleration due to the small displacement of the engine, I think that Logan's choice of the 1 5/8" primaries are the better way to go for MM's that aren't supercharged. Now the only problem for me is to find a way to raise the cash, and then find a competent exhaust place who will also be willing to perform tasks such as raising the ebgine off the otor mount, and removing the A/C compressor as well as the starter which ofcourse be required for the installation(and I'd hate to let that get in my way because I bet that this set up gives a nice "seat-of-the pants" difference in the MM's acceleration).

LaRocca's is taking my ride in on the 20th to do the install... can't wait. I don't even have them on yet, but i can tell you that this was a great investment.

    I think Logan reported a 50 RWHP and a 35 ft/lb torque increase.

You need to look harder, it's right on the main page of the Kook's forum.... Click the Dyno Results thread... The short and skinny of it is peak rear wheel number went up by 29hp, 15ft/lbs. What's more important that peaks though is the curves. At 6000rpm, it's making 50 rear wheel horse power more than the stock exhaust and at 5200rpm, it's making 35ft/lbs extra at the rear wheels over stock.

The stock exhaust system is a dead duck past 5000rpm on these cars...
