They eat catapillars and such, they are a member of the beetle family, they are big and ugly though. I had a pair of them fighting each other on my patio a couple of weeks ago, fight to the death, plus, I killed the winner.

Then in the morning, there are 4 more, all dead, on their backs, WTF? Sympathy death?

Since I was worried about these, as I have never seen them before, I took the carcassas' to my vet (he's a bug guy), he told me what they were, and to not let them pinch me, said it would hurt, no poison etc...
I LOVE Jerry's bar, it's my kinda place...........

When you are dead, you don’t know you are dead. It is difficult only for others. It is the same way when you are stupid.

    How big are them things?
If they eat caterpillars why kill them, they're taking care of a nuisance bug.
I'd think one look would let you know not to let them pinch you, lol.
