Marty's 9.71 run and "Big Dog" Finals
First video is Marty's 9.71 run. The second is the "Big Dog" Finals with MO's Speed Shop and Chris/Shermator's MM - notice the issue with Marty's fuel coolant water dump. It is clear in the original copy of the second video that Jeff lifted both front tires on this run. 9.89 sec win for MO's Speed Shop and "Big Dog" honors.
It was quite an event for Marauder dominance at SSHS9. The high tide of the Impalas has passed. Great job to Marty and Jeff and congrats to Chris/Shermanator for the second place "Big Dog" win. Marauders - first and second place - now that's great.    Well that's all I've got. I hope you enjoyed sharing some of the great times we had at SSHS9. See you at SSHS10. Glenn Ford

 I had a riot at this event. It was great to see all my friends and race the Bolt. That 11.74 run was the best ever for the car!. Next year I will have some real tires on it!

SSHS9 Pictures -
Here are the remainder of my pictures of SSHS9.
Mark (Merc) receiving award from Jim "The Voice".  Chris and Shermator receiving award for "Big Dog" runner-up.  Pops (Mr. T-Bolt) receiving his award for his outstanding support and contributions to SSHS9.  Mike Schultz (far left) from the Mark VIII web site without whose support and hard work efforts SSHS9 may not have ever been possible.  Marty and his trusted driver Jeff receiving the award for "Big Dog".  The "Black Stallion" on it's way home after turning in two great back to back 11.80 runs.  The complete rig. F150 4.6 pulls everything very well on the flat. Need's a 5.4 for steep hills.  The "Black Stallion" Pit Crew - Chris: soon to be Lt. Chris  Chris in the GA Tech "Rambling Wreck". #7 in national ranking - soon to be going to the Orange Bowl. GO TECH!  See you at SSHS10. Glenn Ford
