450 hp NA Marauder? Came across this today LOL

I was google searching some Marauder related tech info today and stumbled across this random site, that includes a few month old thread that some guy started, bragging about his "show car" 450 RWHP "NA" marauder. The video he provides of "his" car just happens to have some "alternator whine" as he claims, ...anyone recognize the car he is trying to pass off as his own in the first video?

Where do people get off pretending someone else's car is theirs, and making up a fake back story about it? I like how he confuses PCM control of the voltage regulator @ WOT w/ the alternator one way clutch, in his explanation of why that clearly SC car in the video is making some NA alternator whine. That explanation doesn't even make sense. I can guess at who the OP of that thread is LOL

hahaha, it's like an epidemic this week. I believe that's Shermanator's car in the first video. Not sure whose in the second video, maybe that one is actually his. He claims to be a member on here, I should PM him just for the lulz

He's from CT...I have a guess.... I haven't been around here much lately but when I came across this guy's ridiculous and very uninformed claims, I couldn't ignore it. What a tool. How sad do you have to be to pretend other peoples' cars are yours, on a Battle Star galactica site of all places?

Did you guys bother to read the rest of the thread?

Not saying its def legit, but he posts,

"I put forged pistons and connecting rods in her they were originally powder and weak. I also did lumpy longer duration cams you can hear in the second video, larger valves and heavier springs, went from 24 lbs injectors to 60 lb and duel gt fuel pumps, changed the 80 mm mass airflow to a 100 mm non peg, tumble ported the heads and intake runner and matched all ports to every thing that was connected to them for perfect flow in and out. Set up the intake runner with water injection to cool the air fuel mixture down for better atomization, and went with a larger throttle body with a single flap for better flow. Custom long tube headers and did away with the 4 cats system and went with 2 high flows instead. Changed from a belt driven to an electric water pump to lessen the engine drag even more and a fluid balancer for the crank. "

And then posts a dyno pull sheet.

Hmm..not sure if it's possible to make those numbers NA...

yep, read it. It's a nice fairytale to go along w/ other peoples' videos. And that would be a record breaking NA car w/ that work and 450 NA RWHP. I had to double check to make sure that wasn't my dad's dyno sheet ripped off my photo host, my dad's 4 valve made 459 rwhp @ 9 psi avg boost (dynod at Janetty, coincidentally). No boost would make that a little bit impossible.

Yep read all that, and even with that he wouldn't be out of the 300s Also, so what if he posted a dyno sheet? You can find a million of those on google images ;-)

Either way the 450hp NA part I could care less about, but the posting a trilogy car as the NA car I found pretty funny.

All the pictures and the second video are of LeoVampire's car. I know he lives in New England so it's possible he's from CT.

Anyone can claim anything on the interwebs.

I once had a guy at a gas station tell me his Civic made almost 1000 HP NA with just NOS.

Why, yes...I did buy the shares in the Brooklyn Bridge he offered me, too.

I LOL'd at the line about the whine in the first vid not coming from a supercharger but the alternator.
