Squealing noise

What could cause the squealing noise from my belt when I krank the car and it's idling?

How old is the belt, and are you sure it's the belt? Fairly cheap and easy to replace

While looking at the belt check the idler pulleys too. Replaced them on the wife's car at about 140k.
