Solid is the one most go with. The 1 1/8" bar is hollow to save weight.

Many have pieced their cars together over many years without issue. F & R sway bars at the same time is probably the lowest concern of all. Mod away as far as you can afford. Just have a plan. [emoji6]

Take a ride in a Marauder with upgraded brakes (TCE's kit) and you'll see the difference. The Marauder's brakes are marginal at best when not racing and extremely sub par when doing any type of spirited driving.

There is nothing like hitting the brakes knowing you will stop IMMEDIATELY.... instead of hitting the brakes and HOPING you'll stop in time!

A small heads up on the installation. I followed the instructions which were very basic. The trick is the instruction sheet is for regular rubber endlink bushings. The kit comes with poly bushings. Since I never worked with poly bushings before I followed the instruction which says crank down on the bolt until the bushings distort a little, this is correct for rubber but not poly.

I guess anyone who has worked with the poly would know this is way too much torque. Now one link is just spinning and will need to be cut out. There was supposed to be a small card added to the instruction sheet correcting the guidance on tightening with poly bushings. Mine was missing the card.

Tech support was helpful and they are sending me a new bolt, nut, etc.

I replaced both links. The first was striped as I thought. The second I backed off the bolt, tightened till the sleeve would not move around by hand. Then tightened it almost one extra full turn before it striped. Then proceeded to replace the second, now striped, link.

I would go no more then 1/2 turn past the point where the sleeve become unmoveable by hand. Perhaps even 1/4 would be fine.
