IMO members should not be asking for payment as a gift, just include Paypal fees in asking price.

Yep! I got REAL lucky getting my $1,500 back (7 weeks later) because I didn't pay fees!
PayPal only stepped in after I got the police internet crimes dept and my bank lined up and ready.
NEVER again!

Sending payment as gift is not recommended. I can say that Ive bought from this guy in the past and no complaints. He is quick at shipping and communication. My purchase with him was not of $1100 but it was money and I had no issues with him.

Jeez, these posts go sideways quickly. Sorry for posting that "option". Fixed. I wish my trader rating resembled the actual amount of dealings I had on this forum! Thanks for the concern guys and gals. It was only listed as an option around the fees. Most people these days B**** and moan about paying fees too!

Please understand that everything is negotiable, It is merely an asking price. If you are truly interested in the headers please contact me. Im really a good guy and more than likely I will waive the Paypal fees if you purchase. It seems that those have really taken over this thread...

I'm sure your a great seller as mentioned. It is just getting old seeing the "plus fees" part added on to most threads. It's the same rules as anyone accepting credit cards.
4.5 No Surcharges. You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method. You may charge a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge and is not higher than the handling fee you charge for non-PayPal transactions.

This thread begs the question, would any of the folks opining about his request for PayPal fees actually been a buyer of the headers that are for sale?

I know it is a risk of posting something for sale in an open forum but everyone feels the need to post their opinion when all the OP was doing was trying to sell something.
No matter how many times and how slowly I read his initial post can I read into it "If you are not interested in buying what I am selling, please let me have your opinion on my sales approach or pricing strategy."

Not that it makes any difference, but ANYTIME I see and ad for something for sale that has "plus Paypal fees", I move on.
You should be moving on with the posts that read " send paypal as gift" and the poster has only been a member for less than a year.

I would not have been a buyer on this particular item, however, there are a couple of other things I would have purchased that had the extra Paypal charge listed. Certainly your opinion may differ, but extra Paypal charges are BS in my opinion. Just sayin.......and Paypal as a gift is also BS.

Shouldn't that be a topic in another thread rather than polluting the seller's For Sale thread? So, for instance, you could start a thread in the Community Discussion forum saying what you think about PayPal fee inclusion in the sales price or when someone asks for payment using the gift option. Then everything stays nice, neat and clean. Plus, it goes along with the site's for sale policy of only asking questions that are germane to the sale itself.

See, this is yet another reason why folks who are not interested in purchasing should not post in for sale threads.

Thanks guys for all the postive feedback and assistance!! I really appreciate it!
Please remember these headers have the connecting pipes with them to bolt up to factory exhaust. Hence the reason they cost more than "Just" the headers by themselves with no connector pipes. These connector pipes have NO CATS. Part number MAUHDROR.
And again, I purchased these from Marty "Mo's Speed Shop" about 3 months ago.

Why are you trashing the op's sale thread?
Want to post a sale, start a new thread, the OP doesn't have to give away his item because you can find something similar for less on line some place. People like you are why others don't even bother posting items for sale.

And you are wrong..They are more than the OP's price as you have to know the right part number from what he is selling from the various models available.I just looked and they were more. Apples to apples not just because another SW model is cheaper, there are like 3 models for these cars.

I'll throw my two cents in
It's irrational to ask for a higher amount than currently selling on another website. I believe the auto anything price has been mentioned multiple times on this thread over the last 30 days.
It's not late breaking news!
Once the sale on auto anything goes away, these will sell.... Eventually
I have to agree with 376shovel. Lower the price to be competitive:)
Good luck with sale

What is your state sales tax rate? Because Autoanything collects it, I know, I have bought many items from them. So.....when you add your sales tax in, is it still a deal?
We are not over reacting, many of us have had our sale threads bashed by plenty of noobs, and we are sick of it. As I posted, know of a deal cooking, start a thread and share it with everyone, not just those that would look at this thread.
So you posted in this tread to help, try a PM, instead of trying to front out a regular member.
