BAD MERC

Not only is BAD MERC coming home where she belongs this weekend from Georgia, I managed to buy a wrecked 2004 DTR from the other coast. Details, 2004 DTR, 118K miles, light flint, front right damage. Mostly cosmetic. Gonna need a front clip and core support. No deployment or HVAC intrusion. Might do a whole 100% repaint and strip it of everything that would need masked. My girlfriend might just be the lucky recipient of it if I decide to fix and restore.

I saw that on C/L. There is also a DTR great body no interior over on the east coast. Put'em both together to make one.

It's going in the garage and will be my back burner project. I lack time but have unlimited funds. If I fix it, I will make it perfect and make sure it will fool the most critical.

Sweet! I think we are pretty close to each other. Send me a PM if you ever need any help or got some extra parts you might need or want to sell or just want to get together!

So, here's my project. I bought it on eBay and the guy LOVED it like we love ours. He shared all his memories about it and the feeling he got when he drove it. I promised to take care of his baby and keep him updated with photos. The pictures did it NO justice. It seems that a trailer hitch damaged the bumper cover and the sheet metal and core support were nudged rearward by the vehicle he hit. The A/C, cooling system and airbags are not affected. It runs and drives. It's FULLY documented and came with all receipts, keys, owners manuals, and the window decal. I thought I was going to part it but nope - she it getting fixed. It has 118K miles and new Toyo tires, aftermarket brakes/rotors, CAI. Thoughts?? Also, I'd like the VIN added to the Marauder registry. 2MEHM79V14X612924. 2004 DTR, heated seats, light flint, CD changer.

Wow Nice score and definitely worth fixing all day! Any hit over the rails is an easy fix.. Especially when you don't need a bumper cover. Sweet ride man
