Headlight switch, Dimmer

My Dimmer roller on the headlight switch seems weak and when I roll it over to the interior light turn on theres no resistence , and my dash lights seem dim ?

dimmer dial worn out perhaps ?

Try replacing the switch, as far as I know the switch from 06 - 2011 grand marquis equipped with fog lights is compatible.

I had a Mercury switch without fogs, but the dimmer dial is the same switched them clicks now and they seem brighter and tighter dial
