I have a 2004 in need of a transmission,anybody have any good references in the dallas area?

yes this guy in dallas 817-819-6543. he is good and fast. did mine in 24hrs! $650. I pulled the transmission out my self. he will that too. for cheap. like $400 more.

The 4R75W is a great transmission!! Have yours rebuilt and a few upgrades will make it bulletproof.

Not sure what you mean but most any REPUTABLE transmission shop can build it back to OEM specs......some can exceed them if you desire!!:beer:

The 4R75W is a great transmission!! Have yours rebuilt and a few upgrades will make it bulletproof. What kind of upgrades can be done to the 4R75W or in my case 4R70W transmission to make it "Bulletproof" advices needed.

You can upgrade the frictions, steels and the amount of them you have in the clutch packs. Like using Raybestos Racing clutches and Kolene steels. 4 Intermediate frictions, 4 reverse, 6-7 forward, 7-8 direct clutches, carbon fiber 2" OD band, high energy reverse band, valve body "tuff plate" and modifications, Sonnax Ford 4R70W Sure Cure Reconditioning Shift Kit 4R75E 4R75W 4R75E Transmission 96-On, tailshaft housing with lube mod... I'm sure someone will add more to this!
