James don't tell me you went to NY and didn't stop by to visit. I am very disappoint in you and turn your hat around and wear it the right way.

That's okay woaface, tbore007 can come to my house and see League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in DTS ES NEO 6, as well as both X-Men, all three Matrixes, and the EXTENDED versions of all three LORD OF THE RINGS !!!

Besides, Yonkers is a much shorter ride...

I have the decoder, just not the extra speaker, stand and wire:up: DTS ES 5.1 is just as good, and really damn good for my young age of 17:flamer:

You haven't heard LOTR until you year it in 6.1/7.1.
5.1 is good, but it leaves the entire back end of your listening area absolutely dead...

In LOTR, TFOTR, when they go down into the Mines of Moria and fight the Troll,
when the Troll arrives on the scene, his audio comes through the Rear Center Channel ONLY...
When he starts swinging his chain around, you can hear it ricocheting off the walls in each individual speaker clearly.
It really gives you a sense of how BIG the room really is !

One day when I figure out how to wire it I'll do it. But from the couch to the back wall is at least 20 feet maybe more. The room is 34x15 with 8 foot cealings and odd things about it that destroy the sound. Oh well, what can I do...I'm poor after buying all of this:up:

If your basement is below your living room, do what I did...
Run the wires along your basement ceiling !
Then all you need to to make a couple really small holes in the corners
of the room through the floor and pull up the cables.
Its the only thing I could do with the cables that the wife would approve of.

I've been thinking about that, it would have to go through the floor, and then a long drill bit to go through that to the cealing of the garage, then run across to the middle of the garage and stuck through a drilled hole there. My dad is unenthusiastic about this.
