View Full Version : 8.8 Differential fluid change/service help ???

:confused: Good day Marauderers tech experts due that in the "Garage" forum not appear a sub forum to discuss or post threads related with differentials I will present the thread here. I have plans to replace the differential cover and in that way to replace the fluid for fresh one can you help me on how to make that process if pictures video can be posted better my new Panther needs all care possible and the only fluid to replace is the differential, :thanks: to read have a great day.

Basically the same as draining the tranny.


Remove all the bolts except the top corners
Pry the bottom of the cover open so the fluid drains out
Remove the remaining bolts
Clean the cover and the mounting surface on the rear
Use silicone sealer to make a new gasket (read and follow the directions on the tube)
Bolt the cover back in place
Refill


You tube probably has a zillions videos on how to do it............

thru the fill plug on the front side of differential, it's a square drive plug, fill it till it runs out and put plug in, do this on a level surface
