Just in case this guy is posting in other states, I wanted to share this for everyone.

"Nice Blue mercury marauder with low miles - $2000

The Marauder is in a class of its own with the 4.6 Borrowed from the Mustang line up with clean title. Runs very smooth. Everything works fine. No oil leak. No over heat. "

I emailed the ad and got this response,

"Hello,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing my 2003 Mercury Marauder is in great Condition, super clean, 113,900 miles, 8 Cylinder Gasoline (4.6L 281Cu. In. V8 GAS DOHC Naturally Aspirated), VIN: 2MEHM75V03X679261, no dings, no accidents, always garage kept, service records up-to-date, clear title no loan or lien on it. The title is clean and we won’t have any problems registering the car in your name.
The price on it is $2,000. I am selling this car because I am in the military and my unit will be sent back over the seas. I don't want it get old in my garage. The price is low because I need to get rid of it as soon as possible.
The car is at our Military Logistic Department from Little Rock AFB, AR, ready to go. I had the car for sale on eBay a few weeks ago and I managed to sell it to a person from your area. The car was sent to him, but when it reached the destination, the buyer was unable to pay for it, because he didn't got a loan. The car was send back to me and remained at the base until I was able to find another buyer.
To make this deal happen I must ask eBay to send you the terms and conditions of the Buyer Protection Program, but before I can do that I need your approval. So if you agree please give me your full name, address and contact number(s) so that eBay can register you as a potential buyer and sent you the terms and conditions.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon! Michael"

I responded to his email and told him I have a friend stationed at Little Rock AFB who can view the car and pay him cash for me. I'm so surprised that he hasn't gotten back to me. Hope this helps anyone out who might run across this scam.

I flagged the ad so the link was already removed. I just wanted to share this in case he posts in other locations. These scammers like to recycle the same scam in different places.

It is still there, so I flagged it also.
