Hi guys,
quick question. Moved the girl last night to swap my snow blower and lawn mower in anticipation for the storm this weekend. When the car was all warmed up, turned on the heat full blast and there was zero heat. Turned the temp to 90, and cool air.
WTF?
Any input would be helpful.
Bill
Air in the cooling system and/or cooling system low on coolant.

Mine did the same thing. Once you drove it, the heat would start working
It was 1/2 gallon low on coolant
parked at Neil's house for some beers, nose up on a hill
Pulled the cot fitting, put coolant in it till the reservoir was at full mark
Clamped hose coming out of lower reservoir, filled cot fitting till no more air bubbles from squeezing drivers side rad hose
Put cot fitting back on, pulled hose pliers from reservoir and it's working great
I think he drank bud light mostly, then changed to BL lime
I was drinking Miller high life light then some fireball...
Anyway it was a simple fix

no Marauder on this forum over the span of 14 years has ever had a problem with the heater core.
Can you verify you actually witnessed junk being flushed from the heater core?

yes white Corsion came out of the Heater core during flushing , this was after water pump change
and I have had perfect heat since flush , I have worked on cars for over 30 years , and have flushed many a Cooling systems and Heater Cores I did a 2005 Garnd Marquis 3 months ago , if antifreeze/colling system has never been flushed or maintained the cores can stop up

Actually my heater core was plugged up , and replaced under warranty when the car was new , it would overheat , one heatercore line was (inlet) hot , outlet was cold , after it was replaced haven't had a problem since.
