I looked up under a few popular Tire sites , Tire Rack, Discount Tire, I forget the last one.
I don't need tires today, but the BFG'S ARE ALL GONE, got me to thinking.
What is available for our cars that match by model and factory suggested size?
I see, Firestone, Cooper, & Nitto.
I was actually pleasantly surprised at the moment knowing there are a few decent options for us that are stock size , 2004 model fans.
If there are other current offerings by other manufacturers, please mention what you found.

Brad, the single best thing I ever did was ditch the zero grip and wear fast BFG's.

I've been running Nitto 420's 255/55 on the back and stock sized Nitto 850's on the front. The sidewalks are a close match. The performance is more than I could ask for and the wear is dead flat across the tread over two years/800 rolling burn outs later. [emoji106]🏻

I'mI appreciate your experience jb, and I will be in the market for something other than the much despised KDWS.
I want the same Tire front and back cause I will drive this junk, everywhere and anytime.

Go a size bigger and you'll find plenty of tires available.

On my first Maraduer I had Cooper Zeon RS3A and was very happy with them, excellent road holding wet and dry and come in factory staggered sizes

I run the Nitto NT555 on all 4 corners. 255/45 on the front and 265/50 on the rear. Overall diameters are really close to the OEM BFG's. Nitto just released the NT555 G2. Unfortunatley, the 265/50 is not available yet. it is available in the 255/45 size.

Are the nitto 850 tread pattern similar to your rear tires?

If you go up to a 255 in the rear there are many more options and it won't mess with the TC. Just about everyone makes a 235/50.

I still have my Factory BFG tires. Mint and still brand new. But I am going to get a set of Nito Drag Radials and Nitto front tires. Check out Latemodelrestoration.com. I have a Fox Stang show car race car. So I am always checking them out. And they have tires 17 18 19 20 inches. At very good prices. Cheaper or the same as other sites. Free shipping too. Look at there tires. And compare you can save a few dead president.
