Since I've had My car everyone who noticed it was a "Marauder" appreciates it more because it's not "Black". They say its nice to see them different colors.

Actually recently saw a small video on Youtube about a guy recently buying a Marauder with a ragtop. Have to find the link. The new owner is planning on restoring the top back to original. He said the first owner was an elderly person and the top was put on as a "luxury" feature. Wonder if the original owner even knew what he had...

no you're right, since we all know there were no other convertible marauders out there besides the prototype, we just call the landau marauder ragtops, the correct term with be landau top.

I've seen and talked to the ragtop guy. I can't remember his name but his plate said GROWLR or some sort. I think he was an old man, very tall, too.

I love Marauders in different colours, the only reason mine is black is because that was all I could get my hands on over here, if I had the choice I probably would have choosen a red one. I was very tempted to buy Adams DTR but the hassle of shipping, importing and registering it over here put me off it and as luck would have it there just happend to be my black one for sale over here already with full German title when I was in the market for one.

I will say I like Grand Marquises with ragtops, it works on those but not on Marauders... just no.

I've spoken with this guy in gas station around downtown Ft. Myers on 41

I spoke with a dealer some years ago that had a rag top in Leesburg f/s. They said they had made 5 of them and sold all. The one I looked at was a trade in from (you guessed it) an elderly couple. So. there is at least 5 of them. Recently, there was one f/s on c/l in the Tampa area for 5K with 80K on the clock. It was listed for quite some time.
